PIR Insulation Boards are currently the best and most effective way of thermal insulation of floors, foundations, roofs and walls. Even in the standard version they have 50% better insulation parameters than wool, EPS polystyrene, XPS polystyrene or cellulose – Lambda λ: 0.022 W/mK and in the best products they reach the parameter λ: 0.019 or even Lambda λ: 0.018 W/mK. They are non-absorbent, resistant to biological enemies: mice and insects, ecological and safe (they do not spread fire).

Advantages of PIR Boards:
Hard and resistant to damage – σ₁₀ = 120-200 kPa
They do not change shape over time (they do not settle), and at the same time they are lightweight. Boards with a thickness of 120 mm are only 3.6 kg/m²
Excellent thermal insulation – λ = 0.022 W/m•K*
A board with a thickness of 110 mm is enough, and in energy-efficient and passive houses 230 mm.
Constant Parameters at the temperature of use: -20°C +80° C
in the ranges in which the insulation is used, it maintains unchanged insulation parameters. Insulates both in winter and summer.
Water resistance – water absorption below 2%
Forget about replacing damp insulation. An additional advantage is the possibility of year-round installation.
Resistance to biological and chemical factors
you don’t have to share your home with rodents and insects, or worry about fungi or mold.
Fire Safety
PIR is a self-extinguishing material, i.e. it does not support fire.
Ecological – does not burden the natural environment
The LCA of polyurethane is much better than other insulating materials that have to be dug up and processed using a lot of energy.
