PIR Fiberglass board is a combination of the best insulating properties of polyurethane and polyester resin linings with glass fibre, completely resistant to ammonia compounds and washable.
The main material used in the production process of PIR Fiber boards is polyisocyanurate (PIR), popularly known as PIR foam or polyurethane, which is protected from the outside with a gas-tight lining, and from the inside with a layer of polyester resin with glass fibre. The structure of Thermano Fiber linings guarantees the stability of thermal insulation parameters over a long period of time.
The core of the boards (PIR) is created as a result of the polymerization of two main components: polyols and isocyanates with the addition of modifying substances. It has a closed cell structure, which means that the material constitutes a significant barrier to capillary water transport and water vapour diffusion. The boards are characterized by excellent mechanical properties, durability, low water absorption and other physicochemical properties that predispose the material to applications in the most demanding building environments.
PIR Fiberglass boards are manufactured to size in lengths of 2400-5000 mm. They are completely resistant to gases generated during animal production and can be easily cleaned using pressure washers. They solve all problems with insulation of AGRO buildings.
